How to use Garnier Hair Food on curly or dry hair

Garnier Hair Food can be used in different ways, but the amount and placement matter if you want moisture without a heavy coated feel.

For dry curly hair, start with the product through mid-lengths and ends. Use less near the roots, then adjust based on how your hair feels after rinsing.

Use it as a mask

After shampooing, apply through the lengths and ends. Let it sit while the hair softens, then detangle gently and rinse well. This is usually the best route for dry, frizz-prone curls that need help with manageability.

Use it as a conditioner

Use a smaller amount when the hair only needs light softness. This can work when you do not want a full mask step but still want some slip.

Use it as a leave-in carefully

Some people use Hair Food as a leave-in, but be careful with quantity. Start tiny, focus on ends, and avoid using too much if your hair gets weighed down or coated easily.

Danielle's family routine angle

In the Garnier Cocoa Butter review, Danielle explains how it helped with dry, tangly, frizz-prone curls in a real family routine.

Three ways to use it

Mask

Best when hair feels dry, rough, tangled or difficult to manage.

Conditioner

Use less product for a quicker softening step after shampoo.

Leave-in

Only use a tiny amount and avoid overloading fine or straight hair.
